An in-depth research and design thesis exploring how the traditional Tigray Hidmo vernacular house typology can serve as a sustainable architectural model for contemporary design. The work examines spatial organization, passive climate strategies, local material systems, and cultural continuity — proposing a framework that honors heritage while addressing present-day needs.
